Call transfer failed

Agent initiates transfer but the receiving party doesn't connect or the agent leg drops.

Symptoms

  • Transfer attempts end with caller hearing silence
  • Destination phone rings but never picks up
  • Agent leg drops during transfer attempt

Common causes

  • Transfer destination extension doesn't exist or isn't active
  • Closer's campaign or phone login inactive
  • SIP REFER method not supported by one end of the call
  • Asterisk dialplan context mismatch for transfer target

How to fix it

    Verify destination extension exists in dialplan and is registered

    Check agent's transfer permission in vicidial_campaigns.allowed_transfer_groups
