CID groups and local presence

Rotate caller IDs from a pool to boost contact rates and protect DID reputation.

A CID group is a pool of DIDs your campaign rotates through when placing calls. Local-presence rotation matches the caller-ID area code to the prospect's area code, typically lifting contact rate 20-30%.

Creating a CID group

Admin → CID Groups → New. Pick a rotation strategy: round-robin, random, local-presence (area-code-matched), or weighted (based on DID health score). Drag DIDs into the group.

Assigning to campaigns

Campaigns → [campaign] → Caller ID → Pool. Pick the CID group. Every dial on this campaign now uses the rotation you defined.

Watch for burning DIDs

Even with rotation, heavy outbound volume can spam-flag DIDs. The CID group health view shows flagged numbers, rotate them out and swap in fresh ones.
